we'd like to take you away from your everyday routine for a few minutes with our new newsletter.
We regret to announce that techno king Chris Liebing is discontinuing his show "CLR Podcast."
But we're certainly ready to fill the gap with the enchanting Laura van Dam from Amsterdam, starting immediately with her show "Capture Radio"! She'll be offering us a mix of wonderful trance, melodic techno, and progressive house sounds.
The Dutch DJ, born on September 18, 1995, in Maastricht, discovered her passion for electronic music at the age of 12. At 17, she won a prestigious DJ competition at the legendary Blue Marlin in Ibiza. Laura van Dam has worked closely with DJ icon Sander van Doorn. She worked as his personal assistant and in A&R for his label DOORN Records, where she scouted for new talent. Her productions are released on leading labels in the scene, including Anjunabeats, Armada Music, Protocol Recordings (by Nicky Romero), and Tiësto's imprint AFTR:HRS.
So—this is going to be a blast! Her 60-minute show can be heard every Thursday, starting at 3 PM CET from March 5, 2026!

We'd like to announce that the very last set this year will be "Memories in E - The Final 2025," which will be streamed on the website's player. It starts on December 31, 2025, at 11 PM. It is presented by "Chris Refresh" from Lübeck.
This show also includes the world premiere of the brand new progressive trance track "Little Princess" by "Chris Refresh & A.M.A.N.". This track will be released on January 9, 2026, on the DeanBeatz label.

We want to inform you that our long-time boss, Tom, will be handing over the reins on January 1, 2026. We would like to sincerely thank Tom for his many years of service! The third point concerns a new DJ addition named "CERT-8." Actually, he's a returning DJ, as he's rejoining us after a long break. Every first Wednesday of the month, you can enjoy his show "Groove Certific8"—his unique blend of deep, tech, and old-school house sounds will go straight to your heart and get your feet moving! It all kicks off on January 7, 2026, at 7 PM.

A warm hello to the select group of friends and listeners of GlobalBeats FM!
Summer is slowly entering its latter stages, but things are still hotting up on our channel and Mixcloud, with the best variety in electronic music, including some truly extraordinary offerings, just like the Dance Classics radio show.
This show is always on the first Saturday of the month, and in the next episode, which will be issue 28, there's an absolute highlight for listeners – the big MEGAMIX PARTY SPECIAL! Such formats were always popular in the 80s and 90s, and this episode will feature a party-ready compilation from these two decades, which contributed so significantly and, above all, to the development of electronic music. Old, original recordings are taking over again!
The length of the show is also special – a full 4 hours! Included, among other things, are megamixes of dance-pop, Euro dance, dream dance, trance, house, even a bit of rock, but of course, plenty of Italo disco too.

Hello friends and loyal listeners of GlobalBeats FM,
it's been quite some time since you last heard from us.
But – we're still here!
Due to some changes, we'd like to make it possible to send you a new newsletter relatively regularly from now on, so you're always well informed about all the latest news.
At the end of the year, we will close our player on our homepage. Instead, we'll continue to broadcast on Mixcloud.
There you can listen to your favorite DJs' sets whenever or as often as you like. The broadcast schedule with the daily and weekly overview will remain, as will our homepage itself. However, from the turn of the year, the homepage will only serve as information, so you can visually conjure up all the latest news and events.
Since April 1st, we've been in a test run in which we're broadcasting on Mixcloud, but also as usual on the radio player. However, as mentioned, you can already reach us via https://www.mixcloud.com/globalbeats-fm
From January 1, 2026, we will broadcast exclusively via Mixcloud.
The next great news is that we've been able to win back Sonority, aka Robert Bartu from the north, as our DJ. Most people remember him from the Loops & Strings 500 in April 2017 at Stellwerk Duisburg, where he played an incredible three-hour opening set. After that, he presented his show "Sound of Trance" at GlobalBeats for a few months. He returns with this show starting May 12th, presenting his incomparable blend of uplifting trance, progressive trance, and classics every second Monday of the month, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
But in general, we also want to keep us in your heads with this newsletter, naturally in a light-hearted way.
